Delivery

Orders are shipped from the UK via Royal Mail or suitable courier.

 

ESTIMATED SHIPPING SCHEDULES

  • Ready to Ship - 4 - 6 days (3 days processing, 3 days shipping)

  • Made to Order - The approximate lead time for made to order items is 6 - 8 weeks. The estimated dispatch date will be confirmed after purchase.

  • Mixed Item Orders - Unless agreed, all items will be dispatched in together (i.e., in-stock item will be shipped with your custom order), therefore the latest delivery date applies.

 

Unless agreed in writing, Velvet Rani Couture will not take responsibility of meeting a customer specified delivery date.

 

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

  • Shipping costs outside of UK will vary, and are dependent on country, these will need to be calculated before order placed. Please get in touch to discuss delivery options ahead of placing your order.

  • For international orders (outside the UK), we will ship duties unpaid. Local taxes are the responsibility of the customer.

  • Refer to terms and conditions for full delivery, charges and tax/duty term.

Returns

Returns & Refunds

ORDERS THAT CANNOT BE RETURNED

Cancellations and refunds do not apply to the following items

  • Custom pieces (bespoke, made to measure, made to order)

  • Sale or sample items

  • Any in-person purchases

  • We can only process refund requests for ready to ship items purchased via the website/electronically - refer to terms and conditions for full details

RETURNING AN ITEM

Cancelling an order: You may return full-priced Ready to Ship items within 14 days of ordering or receiving your delivery. When cancelling or returning your items, please follow the process below:

  • Email us to let us know which items you wish to  cancel / return an item. Please include your order number.

  • We will send you your returns information.

  • Send the item(s) back to us within 14-days.

  • If you cancel  before we ship your order, we will issue a refund, otherwise we will wait until the item arrives back.

 

Sending your item back: Please ensure the item meets the conditions below. A refund can only be given if items returned are:

  • In a condition in which we can re-sell at full price - this means undamaged, unworn and still new.

  • With the store labels/tags and packaging intact.

  • Accompanied by order number and name - we cannot return your money unless we know who sent the items back.

 

Return shipping: Customers will need to pay the cost of return shipping – this is non-refundable. We recommend using a trackable shipping method, as we are not responsible for any items lost in the post. You are responsible for the items until we receive them.

RETURNING FAULTY ITEMS

Important: Defects need to be reported within  48hrs of receipt of delivery, with pictures clearly showing the fault - this does not affect your statutory rights.

 

Reporting a faulty item:  we never mean to send you a defective item, but if it is faulty, please follow the process below:

  • Get in touch with us via email, within 48hrs of receiving your delivery, and let us know of the fault (velvetranicouture@outlook.com).

  • Be sure to include your order number, and just as important, photos / videos of the defect.

  • We will send you the returns instructions

 

Sending your item back: Please ensure the item meets the conditions below. A refund for defective items can only be given if the item returned:

  • Is accompanied by a returns number

  • Has store labels/tags and any packaging intact

  • Includes a clear description of the fault

 

Return shipping: You will need to pay the cost for returning shipping – this will be refunded if a fault confirmed. We recommend using a trackable shipping method, as we are not responsible for any items lost in the post. You are responsible for the items until we receive them.

 

Reviewing a faulty item: If a defect is confirmed by us, we will repair or replace the item, or provide a store credit note for the full cost paid, including the cost of return shipping.
